These are our recipe for Linzer Cookies but in bar form, because you sometimes don't want to spend a bunch of time rolling and cutting out the cookies! They are absolutely delicious and easy to prepare for a dessert table during the holidays. We like to make ours with ground hazelnuts, but you can also use ground pecans, walnuts, or almonds if you prefer.
We opted to drop the dough on the top half, but you can certainly roll out and cut the dough into strips if you want to be more fancy with a lattice top.
